Troubleshooting & repair

Find the actual fault, prove it with readings, fix it once — motors, drives, pumps, hydraulics and the circuits that run them.

A machine that will not start, a breaker that keeps tripping, a pump that cavitates under load, a drive throwing a fault code nobody recognises. This is the core of what we do: find the actual fault, prove it with readings, fix it once.

The calls we take

  • Motor will not start, hums, or trips its overload
  • VFD faulted and will not reset — or resets and faults again
  • Pump losing flow, cavitating, or deadheading
  • Hydraulic press that will not build pressure
  • Gearbox running hot, getting loud, or making metal
  • Instrument reading that operations no longer trusts
  • A control circuit that works until it does not — the intermittent
  • The failure that keeps coming back no matter what gets replaced

How we work a fault

Readings first, conclusions second. We work the circuit or the machine in order — supply, control, load — and let the meter eliminate causes until one remains. It is the discipline you would expect from a military-trained technician, and it is the opposite of swapping parts until the symptom moves.

We arrive with diagnostic instruments — thermal camera, vibration analyser, insulation tester, scopes — because the difference between an hour of diagnosis and a week of guessing is usually one good reading.

Repair, rebuild, and the report afterwards

  • Component-level repair — contactors, overloads, valves, seals, bearings, couplings, drives: replaced or rebuilt as the job justifies.
  • Root-cause correction — the failed part tells you what broke; the readings tell you why. We fix the why, or tell you plainly what it will take.
  • Failure analysis and reporting — what we found, the readings that led there, and what stops it recurring. Your team learns from every visit.

Down right now?

We are on site within 24 hours across six Southern California counties, with after-hours and weekend response at the higher hourly rate from the first hour — see emergency service. Call (562) 805-3250 and you are talking to a technician, not a scheduler.

What it costs

Hourly with a four-hour minimum: $125/hour with a PM agreement, $200/hour without, stepping to $175/$250 beyond eight hours in a day. Full terms on the pricing page — published, because you should not need a phone call to find out whether we are in range.

See the method before you buy it

We have published 32 interactive troubleshooting trainers — contactors, motors, VFDs, hydraulics, instrumentation — that walk the exact readings-first method we use on your floor. Free, no sign-up. If the method convinces you, the phone number is above.
