Working here

We are looking for motivated technicians. No formal posting right now — but if you diagnose rather than replace, send your details and we will talk.

We are looking for motivated technicians. There is no formal posting up right now, and that changes nothing — when the right person turns up it is worth making room for them.

This trade has a real shortage of people who can diagnose rather than replace. If that is you, send your details below and we will have the conversation.

Send us your details

Fill this in and attach a résumé if you have one. If you would rather just talk, call (562) 805-3250 — a phone call from someone who can walk through a fault they solved will get further than a formatted CV.

This is the part we actually read. How you reasoned through it matters more to us than where you have worked.
PDF or Word. Optional — a good answer above counts for more.

Who we would want to hear from

  • Someone who takes a reading before forming an opinion, and can say why they measured that particular thing
  • Comfortable on 480 V three-phase, and serious about lockout/tagout when nobody is watching
  • Able to work in front of a customer — explaining what you found in plain terms is half the job
  • Strong in at least one of: rotating equipment, motor control and drives, fluid power, or process instrumentation
  • Willing to say "I do not know yet, here is what I will measure next" instead of guessing confidently

What the work is like

Field service across Southern California — you will see a different plant and a different problem most weeks, which is either the appeal or the drawback depending on the person. Food and beverage, packaging and plastics, water treatment, and aerospace. Early starts: our hours are 3am to 1pm, which suits people who would rather have their afternoons.

You would be working alongside an owner with thirteen years in the trade who is still on the tools, not managing from an office. The company is small, so what you do visibly matters.

Not a technician?

We are also interested in people who can build the kind of thing our free tools are made of, or who know maintenance planning and reliability well enough to help other plants run better. Unusual backgrounds are welcome — Francisco's own started in the military.

How to reach us

Use the form above, or call (562) 805-3250. Either reaches a technician rather than an inbox nobody checks.

Machine down, or planning ahead?

Call and you get a technician, not a call centre. On-site across Southern California, remote support nationwide.
